This Policy explains how BetterSex, operated by Secure Medical Inc, uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads — for example, that you are logged in. Some are essential to a site working at all; others are optional.

How we use them

BetterSex uses cookies sparingly and primarily for things that keep the Service working and secure. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell cookie data.

Strictly necessary cookies

• Session cookie — keeps you logged in as you move between pages. It is set with HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax protections and expires when your session ends.
• Security token — a per-session value used to protect forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF).

Because these cookies are essential to providing a service you’ve requested (logging in, staying logged in, submitting forms securely), they cannot be switched off through the Service.

Third-party requests

We load web fonts from Google Fonts to render the site’s typography. Serving those fonts involves a request to Google’s servers, which receives your IP address as part of any ordinary web request. Google’s handling of that data is governed by its own policies. We do not use this to track you across sites.

Payment provider

When you make a purchase, our payment processor, Stripe, may set its own cookies on its checkout pages to process the transaction securely. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe under its policies.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before accepting them. Note that blocking the strictly-necessary cookies above will prevent you from logging in or using core features of the Service.

Changes

If we add new cookies or technologies, we will update this Policy and the “Last updated” date above.
